Forgiveness takes one.

Reconciliation takes two.

According to Merriam-Webster the term “Reconcile” (a verb) means “to restore to friendship or harmony,” “to settle, resolve.”

We can and should always ask and give forgiveness, but reconciliation takes the willingness of BOTH people. Even if you desire reconciliation it may not happen due to the other persons declination.

Forgive anyway.

Let it go.

Let God do what He’s best at doing.

God has me in Romans 15:13 this morning and it has encouraged me so much. I pray it encourages you as well!

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”

As you trust in Him. As I trust in Him.
