As many of you know, over the past several years I have experienced several health issues. I was diagnosed with stage IIA melanoma cancer and have gone to Florida Cancer Specialists monthly for blood iron treatment- not to mention other health matters. I have also undergone many surgeries both major and minor.
I say all that because about this time tomorrow I will be undergoing another 3-hour surgery.
I am entrusting myself to God’s perfect will and I know that He has every intention of showing Himself Mighty and ever so glorious through all of this. The book of Ecclesiastes has brought me such encouragement and peace this morning and maybe it will bless you. Here is what it says…
For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven:
2 a time to be born, and a time to die;
a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted;
3 a time to kill, and a time to heal;
a time to break down, and a time to build up;
4 a time to weep, and a time to laugh;
a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
5 a time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together;
a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
6 a time to seek, and a time to lose;
a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
7 a time to tear, and a time to sew;
a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
8 a time to love, and a time to hate;
a time for war, and a time for peace.
Later, in verse 11 it says “He (God) has made everything beautiful in its time.”
In HIS TIME.
But His time.
He isn’t just a God of time but of timing.
What is your “hard place” today? God CAN be trusted with it.
I’ll close with this…
Be confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. Philippians 1:6
I am so appreciative for my support system…those sitting like watchmen of the wall on my behalf. For those interceding and believing for total healing and for God to receive glory for this all. Thank YOU from the bottom of my heart.
